Job title:                Office administrator

Closing date:         31st August 2025

Location:                Menai Bridge

Salary:                   £23,000 – £25,000 per annum (based on experience)

An opportunity to join our team here at Dunn & Ellis Cyf. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who's organised, dependable and can work effectively in a busy office environment.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist with administrating the office and reception duties.
  • Basic record keeping/bookkeeping - training will be offered.
  • Submitting VAT returns.
  • Basic accounts preparation.
  • Any other clerical work required by the manager and directors.

Essential skills:

  • Confident using MS Office (especially Word & Excel).
  • Can work well as part of a team, as well as on your own.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to communicate in Welsh is essential.

Job title:                Trainee accountant

An individual who possesses an interest in business, organised, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. We are a training office with staff studying towards their certificates with ACA, ACCA, CTA, AAT & ATT. 

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Under supervision, prepare accounts for various businesses, including:
    • sole-traders,
    • partnerships and
    • limited companies
  • Training to use various software and computer systems e.g. Iris, Quickbooks, Xero.
  • Ensure that deadlines are met promptly e.g. Companies House, HMRC etc.
  • Under supervision, assist to prepare:
    • income tax returns,
    • corporation tax returns, and
    • VAT returns
  • Communicate with clients as required, including requesting information and answering queries in a professional manner.
  • Any other clerical works required by supervisors and company directors.
  • The ability to communicate in Welsh is essential.

 

  • Hours - Monday to Friday (36.25 hours) – open to discuss part time hours.
  • Holidays – 28 days in addition to bank holidays (pro rata).
  • Generous workplace pension.
  • Health plan.
